February 24, 2020 Austin, Texas Springdale Station
Springdale Station is a historic train station located on Austin's East Side. It boasts of 1920's era features from exposed wood trusses, rustic wood floors, mid century chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows. Owner, Moya McIntyre, envisioned turning this gorgeous space into a public event venue where she first opened the doors in the summer of 2016. It has been a go-to space for events fom weddings, fundraisers, corporate and private parties.
Stephanie, with Amethyst Jade Events, and I worked together to create a vision that we felt appealed to the modern day bride with touches of timeless romance. We were initially inspired by the 2020 Pantone Color of the year, Classic Blue, and added romantic elements of Chinoiserie Bud Vases and soft pink dahlias. With the help and support of the list vendors, we made our vision come to life.
